A Long-Running Local Favorite-Rick’s Restaurant & Bakery in Palm Springs

Rick’s is a family run establishment, and prides itself on using only the best ingredients to create fantastic home-cooked entrees. The casual diner setting is bright and inviting, and conveniently lies just north of the Uptown Design District. Often times you’ll find it packed for breakfast, as their extensive and scrumptious menu is a favorite among locals!

If you go during breakfast, they’re somewhat famous for their giant cinnamon roll, delectably fluffy and freshly made from scratch! Their selection of waffles and pancakes are created from a house made secret batter, and can be ordered alongside sausage, bacon, eggs and hash browns. You’ll also find an impressive selection of omelets, with classics such as the Denver Omelet and regional specialties like the California Omelet. For a little southwestern flair, you can try the Huevos Rancheros, or for some southern comfort the Chicken-Fried Steak and Eggs. Pretty much every breakfast classic has a spot on the menu, including French Toast, Eggs Benedict, and Bagel and Lox.

The tasty entrees don’t end once breakfast is over! Rick’s also boasts a generous lunch menu, featuring homemade soups and Chef Rick’s specialty sandwiches. You’ll also find a selection of burgers, salads, and more unique items like homemade meatloaf and an Ahi tuna sandwich. The lunch menu is where you can really detect Rick’s Cuban influence, with amazing items like the Honey Dipped Fried Chicken, or the Cuban Rib-Eye Steak Sandwich. There are also vegetarian options, a children’s menu, and a wine and beer list!

You can find Rick’s Restaurant and Bakery in Palm Springs at 1973 N Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92262. They’re open on Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday remain open until 3 PM.
